20 years ago I launched our business in Oklahoma and we have been enormously blessed. As anyone who has experienced a startup knows, there are a lot of blood sweat and tears. Managing cash flow, attracting and retaining employees, meeting the needs of customers and manufacturers. The market decides what is important and as a business we are servants to our customers. As Edmond’s next Mayor, I will bring honesty, business experience and leadership to our municipal government.

Brian and Janelle Shellem
Brian Shellem has been a prominent member of Edmond’s business community developing businesses and creating local jobs for over 20 years. A fiscal conservative, Brian founded and has operated multiple businesses simultaneously and is the President of Advanced Automotive Equipment, Incorporated.
Upon graduation, Brian was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Arizona State University and began his career in the collision repair industry.
Brian and his wife of 23 years, Janelle, live in Edmond with their two children who attend Edmond public schools.
After teaching hundreds of children in public school for 10 years, Janelle now works with Brian in their business. Janelle loves to teach and continues to serve the students of Edmond.
